Situation

Public sector marketers were scared and overwhelmed. In an industry full of policies, rules, and legal concerns, many teams opted out of any online audience engagement. Microsoft wanted help to alleviate their social media fears.

Solution

A playbook was created to alleviate fears and  arm marketers with tangible ways to think about structuring, managing and improving their presence online.   All, while thinking about the bigger strategic picture.

Results

Over 600 downloads from Twitter in an hour. (Relatively speaking, for every 1 Microsoft Public Sector Twitter Follower there are about 6500 Starbucks followers)
